This is the way my cousin, John Corrick from Ezehire, was notified he will not be entitled to compensation...
The notice was pinned to their gutted offices...
...check out the print in reference to compensation, anyone other than a pensioner is entitled to just over $6,000 in compensation for damages.
Please someone tell me how this will replace...
...a container full of family assets and memorablia, including 100 odd years of our family photos...
...computers, servers, tv sets, etc, etc, stock in trade...
...the bedroom, they also lived on premises...
...mud, toxic sludge seeping through the walls...
...and the art gallery over the road....
Very little for anyone that has contributed as the battlers in small business have to build the city of Brisbane's wealth.
Something more has to be done for these people.
They can't be just expected to take the belting on their own and start again!
It is a far more omnious cloud that hangs over Brisbane if these people can't be motivated to give it another go...
