There will be two public events in Fitzroy St, hosted by jackjackjackie Salon next week on Thursday and Saturday.
Toorak Times has joined the team this year and I hope many will also join us.
My friends know my know 14 year old son, James, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia just over 2 years ago. He has made a wonderful recovery although still having lumbar punctures and chemo for another year or so, but he is doing fantastically well in all areas of his life.
Over the past two years those friends have supported me in my endeavors for the Leukaemia Foundation and this year allows me the opportunity to join with Jackie and her crew to make a potentially larger contribution.
This is all down to the people at the Monash Medical Centre and the program to which James was assigned. None of this would be possible without continued support.

The Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave is one of Australia’s biggest fundraising events with over 125,000 people across the country participating to raise money for those living with a blood cancer.

jackjackjackie is proud to be participating in the World’s Greatest Shave in March 2011 to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
jackjackjackie is proud to support such a worthy cause, and I am hoping you will join us by doing one of the following:
1. Get involved yourself. Simply register your business to join in the fun! It’s easy, and an enjoyable team experience for everyone. Call 1800 500 088 to register or log onto to www.worldsgreatestshave.com
2. Support our group by making a donation towards our fundraising. Write a cheque payable to the Leukaemia Foundation of Australia and mail it to me. We will forward a receipt for tax purposes.
3. Join our group by shaving, waxing or colouring your hair – or even wear a crazy wig for the day. You can even join in on our event! Just call our business coordinator Jackie.
4. Come to our event and watch the fun and make a donation on the day. It will be at Fitzroy St Kilda, 4:00pm - 6:30pm Thurs outside Robarta and Saturday outside Laika Bar.
