The Palace Cinema that was situated in this building previously just didn't seem to hit the spot for local St Kilda cinema goers tastes, sadly it closed a couple of months ago.
I walked into the building today and their was a flurry of trades people totally remodelling the cinema back to traditional values with a box office and Candy Bar, as well as a revamped bar.
Look for the opening announcements and programming on this site from about the middle of February, might be able to organise some special passes...
I am so looking forward to just being able to slip just up the road with the kids to enjoy the movies that they wish to see, I tend to like the same stuff anyway...

Do you know who the new operators are? I wonder if they're hiring :P
I just moved here from perth and am looking to get a job in a cinema. Do you know who to contact regarding the Aurora?
Wow! That's awesome. Can anyone please tell when it would be reopened? I am desperately waiting to take my kids to the cinema.
